   I can not give it an honest rating yet because i only had it a week and the weather has not been good. I can say I ordered the bike and within a week it was delivered . The packaging was good the only complaint is there was a scratch on the frame and I did not receive my free extra battery yet. I'm hoping Aventon has touch up paint. Overall the bike looks great. I can't wait to get out and ride.

   After having both knees replaced earlier this year, I worked to get back in shape and then decided it was time to buy a bike. After researching numerous brands for about six weeks, pros and cons for a 72 yo woman, I decided the PACE 500.3 was for me. I have never owned an E bike and had not ridden any bike for years. My sister owns a fold up Blix e-bike that she rides on the beach and in the mountains, so I first looked at folding bikes, but ultimately liked the features of the 500.3 better. I live in the country and have so far just ridden nearby on rough county roads, full of pot holes, and on our bumpy unpaved road on our property through the pasture to the barn where the bike is stored. The bike is steady and strong and I love ending my ride flying uphill thru the pasture. I’m waiting for my bike rack to be delivered so I can ride my bike elsewhere. Especially thinking of the Aransas Wildlife Refuge and Ft. Davis, both having long, scenic, quiet roads for riding. Thanks for this wonderful bike!

   My wife has owned an e-bike for over 4 years and loves it. I used to enjoy riding with her, but could no longer keep up with her on my conventional 10 speed, but I just didn’t feel like an e-bike was for me, because of my 6’8” 235 pound frame. That is until I rode a friend of mine’s Aventon. I was an immediate convert and ordered my Aventon shortly after that test ride. My Pace 500.3, along with the accessories I ordered, arrived in very short order and within an hour, I had the bike assembled and was taking my first ride on my own Aventon. For me, the Aventon seems like a well built bike at a very competitive price and I am once again enjoying rides with my wife 😊 The ordering process could not have been easier and Aventon’s customer service department kept me apprised of my order’s status from the time I hit the “complete order” button, until my bike arrived. So far I am very pleased with my new bike and with Aventon ’s level of service.

   At the time of this review, I've only owned the bike for 1 week. No problems upon assembly and the bike runs just fine; exactly as I expected from the test ride. Easily takes myself (150 lbs) up a ~few % grade hill at 20 mph with minimal pedaling assistance in top gear. Comfortable, upright seating position.

   Purchased two bikes, one step through for the wife and the larger one for me, white and black. Both bikes arrived within a few days. Fairly easy to install, especially when viewing the video. We Upgraded and purchased the fenders and the rear racks for both bikes, plus helmets. Unfortunately i was sent the wrong size and it sounds like they want me to pay for shipping in order to receive another? Hmmm. Hopefully that issue will get resolved. The bikes are wonderful and we cant wait to take them with us during our next camping trip.

   Purchased my Pace 500.3 about two months ago. It was easy to complete the final assembly with the simple clear instructions. I’ve been riding it on the paved trails in my area, and what a joy it’s been — handles well, shift’s quickly, and has good riding position. The best part, is the power assistance on hills… it’s a game changer! I can now take longer rides and not worry about being strained climbing hilly sections. So far the bike has exceeded my expectations.

   We have owned the first version of the Pace 500 and still have one and love it. It has been tons of fun and trouble free for 100's of miles. This new 500.3 version takes the experience up a level. First, the torque sensor system just works intuitively with almost no lag or wanting to run away from you. The more effort you put in, the more the system puts in. Next is the quality and beefiness of the frame. Just smoother and more refined as well as stronger looking. The hydraulic brakes are the same and work great. There is now an integrated headlight, tail lights with turn signals and they are bright and effective. Also, the kickstand has been moved back to the rear axle instead of crank mounted and that works much more logically. Assembly took two of us about an hour including mounting the optional rack. It was a fun and rewarding time together. Anybody can do it and their video is extremely helpful. Aventon also includes all the quality tools you will need to put it together and make adjustments. Mainly, just mounting the front wheel/tire assembly and the handlebars and seat post and you are basically done. Aventon is a great company and we now have several years of being ecstatic customers. As an amputee, one feature I would enjoy is having a cruise control built into the electronics. So all in all, we give this bike and Aventon our very highest rating. If you are shopping for quality ebikes backed by a company team that cares, do what we did and make yourself happy. Order your Aventon bike today and start having more fun in your life!    I absolutely love my bike. I should’ve bought this sooner. Hated giving up my regular bike, felt like I was going to be a cheater. I was so wrong you can pedal as much or as little as you want. I love to bike but started to need help getting up the steep hills. I love my bike. Biking is completely enjoyable

   First time owning/riding an e-bike. I bought the bike to help me recovery from getting both knees have partial replacements this year. I did a lot of research on brands, features, prices, etc. Settled on the Pace 500.3 Amazing bike! Far exceeds my expectation. I live in an area where every street is a hill. I love the way you can use the bike as a normal bike (with 8 gears,) but get some help easily as I start to climb the hills. Multiple "boost" levels, plus the "throttle," manages the steepest of hills with ease. Plus, the long battery life! I've been out riding for an hour or so, using "boost" and "throttle" to mange the hills, and have yet to use 10% of the battery! A very impressive e-bike at a very reasonable price point!

   The Pace 500.3 is a joy to ride. It's easy to handle and the motor assist feels natural - it's smooth with no sudden burst of power. I ride in eco mode most of the time because that's all the assist I need. I cruise at about 17 mph and get a light workout - probably about the same level of cardio as walking.

   My wife bought her a pace 500.3 and she absolutely loves it. I have an Aventure 2 but it was too big and heavy for her so she got a pace. Now we take rides together and we’re like a couple of kids again. Never thought a bicycle could bring so much joy in our lives but it has. And we are both getting healthier and more fit doing it but it’s so much fun you don’t realize it! 👍🏻 I did a lot of research before I purchased and I’m so glad that I did because Aventon makes a great bike! 👍🏻🚴

   Purchased my step though 16 months ago. Unless its raining or snowing I am riding.. I have lost over 50lbs and just hit 2500 miles on the odometer.. The bike still works flawlessly! May buy a 2nd one so I can have "guest riders" (friends and family members) hit the trails with me.

   The box came I was able to assemble in about 2 hrs -- First ride was my normal 10 mile loop -- went really smooth. Was a little surprised that I was unable to get the Pace to get to 28 mph peddling and using power option 5. Have put on approx. 50 miles. Overall very satisfied at this point.

   I have had our two Pace 500.3 sitting in my living room for 2 weeks now they’re was mix up with the fenders and received a seat and carry bags instead of two sets of front and rear fenders customer service was very helpful and we got the exchange done in one morning but the right parts are coming from the other side of the country so we wait I’ll re review after we get out and about bikes went together easy and are certainly well made

   I purchased a Pace 500.3 and it’s amazing. It’s a whole new bike experience. The bike is worth far more, at least twice what it’s listed at. I see bike for $3500 that aren’t half as comfortable as this bike. They have off road, on road, they have it all. Perfect ride. I recommend this to anyone that wants a comfortable e-bike for a great price.

   When I started searching for an e-bike I wanted one that looked like a regular bike, had smooth power when peddling, was easy to ride without power, a step-through, and more. The Pace 500.3 is just that bike. Aventon made it easy to assemble with their video. When I had any questions their customer service was friendly, cheerful, and helpful. I've put 150 enjoyable miles on Monster (my nickname for my bike) so far and I'm very satisfied. It rides just like my old bike without the motor. For a full workout I prefer to ride in eco mode, in high gear. My roommate went out and bought a Pace for himself after trying mine so we're enjoying our bikes together. We take this bike on gravel/off road trails and it performs flawlessly. The controls are designed well, easy to reach, and memorize. I like the removable battery. The application that comes with the bike needs a little work and you will need it to make your bike a class 3. My only complaint is that it doesn't have screws for a water bottle cage. The redesign of this bike looks and feels awesome. We both got a free battery! The Pace is fun out on the trails, it handles wonderfully, and is even easy to ride no handed. We are totally happy with our experience with Aventon.

   Game-changing is an understatement! NYC streets are made for bikes. After losing my precious car, I was considering all my options. After learning about the tech behind e-bikes, I researched brand after brand, and spoke with local bike shops and authorized retailers. Aventon has an excellent track record, great street cred, and is beautifully designed! They appear to be built to last, and local shops have not seen major issues, even years after model launch. I’m a huge fan of my new way to get around, and happy I found Aventon. My Pace 500.3 is faster than getting around locally in my car, and is able to traverse dense city streets and meander on fun trails. Highly recommend!

   My husband and I are retired. We have had low end Ebikes and decided we wanted something of better quality and longer range. About a month ago, we made a great decision in purchasing Pace 500.3 step-through cruiser Ebikes. We both decided on Ghost White. I am 5' 5" and was leaning toward regular size. My husband persuaded me to get large and I am really glad he did. It is perfect for me. The bikes are of good quality and very smooth operation from gear shifting to pedaling. They are well balanced and very nimble. I don't routinely do this but, I can ride it with no hands...it is that well balanced. They are very comfortable and allow us to ride in an upright position. We have ridden the bikes upwards of 40 miles in one day. We typically use Eco Mode and the upper gears (6, 7, 8). The seats aren't terrible like some are but, I replaced my seat with a noseless one and my husband has another seat for his. His seat would have been fine for shorter distances but, over 40 miles in one day, was uncomfortable. Customer support has been great for all of our questions and concerns. We received our free batteries this week. That was a huge perk! We have added Aventon Rear Racks and Aventon Rack Top Bags. We are very pleased with these bikes and feel like they will serve us well for a long time to come!

   Finally a bike I really enjoy riding. The handlebars are very adjustable so when you ride your arms are in a relaxed position. The seat is really comfortable. I don’t need bike shorts when I’m riding. It’s way more comfortable than my wife’s $70 cushion seat. We did 11 miles of up and down hills in Tennessee with no problems at all. I probably had 90% of the battery left. I did 15 miles with no assist without any issues because it’s pretty light and easy to ride. The only real problem is that everyone else wants a turn. Once they ride mine they don’t want to give it back!

   I'm in my 50's, 5'8", and 285 lbs. I wanted to start being active again and always enjoyed bicycling throughout my life, but in my condition, I needed an assist. The Pace 500.3 was perfect! Between the step through frame, adjustable handlebars, torque sensor, and 300 Lb capacity, it has brought joy back to being active again. I hope to enjoy this bicycle for many years to come and hopefully lose a few pounds too. I also was grateful to be able to assemble this bike myself with the instructions and tools provided. Aventon thought of almost everything! (I had to get a bigger more cushiony seat but I don't think I'm the usual demographic for a bicycle.) Highly recommended for people in my situation or seniors.
