The fact that Tenways offers a discount on the popular CGO600 singlespeed e-bike every now and then is nothing new. However, these discounts have only ever applied to individual color variants, which changes with the current offer: At the moment, the bike is available in all four colors at a discount of 100 euros each, which brings the final price below the magical 1,500 euro mark — 499 euros to be exact. This price also includes free mudguards and a bike stand!
We have already discussed how the affordable e-bike performs in everyday use in detail in our review. And to sum it up briefly: the CGO 600 is definitely worth a recommendation, especially considering the attractive price, of course.
Compared to the recently presented CGO 600 Pro (which we could also check out here), the regular 600 scores with a slightly lower weight and the approximately 300 euro lower price. Design-wise, the two bikes differ in particular in the battery, which is permanently installed in the cheaper model and has a slightly lower capacity of 250 Wh.
And another advantage of the CGO 600: currently, all color variants in each of the three frame sizes are marked as available for immediate delivery, for which Tenways calculates shipping within two business days.

I commuted to work in the ‘90s, but over the years my bikes collected more dust than miles.
Picked up this bike as a commuter recently . The motor eases staying with traffics flow even while carrying a load. Power delivery is smooth. Tend to keep it at the lowest level.
Made a few comfort upgrades, Brooks saddle, mustache bars, racks, and panniers.
My only criticism is with the assembly instructions. It mentions turning the handlebars while keeping the fork still. That is fine, but it should mention that you need to tighten the two screws on the handlebar stem afterwards. This could be very dangerous if it is not done. The instructions do mention a general "make sure all screws are tight" at the end, but specific tightening instructions would be better. Also, the rear fender was all of the way down, keeping my back wheel from moving. Not a big deal, but I removed the rear wheel before I realized what the issue was.
Still, very happy with the bike for commuting and easy trips around town. Nice to not have to "gear up" to ride to dinner or drinks with friends.
Understanding what this bicycle is made for, it excels. It is not a moped or electric scooter. The cycle is heavy, but lighter than typical throttle e-bikes and takes effort to cycle without the electric component. The motor is essentially silent, the e-bike is slightly hesitant when first turned on but pleasantly smooth. Great bike, smooth and comfortable. The thicker tires were perfect rolling over post-Debbie (Hurricane) debris. Despite no suspension the seat is very comfortable. Recovering from a knee injury, the 1st level e-bike setting was more than enough to get up little hills or against head wind. Wish it had a bottle holder attachment but that is minor. Not sure if I love the mudguards. Very strong kick stand. Gates single gear belt is enough. The computer is simple but has everything one needs to monitor ride info with easy controls for the ebike. Compared to a typical road bike it is heavy but probably similar to a steel bike. Great bicycle with excellent attention to details.
I get compliments about it's color and the overall looks.
The bike by itself is really light, but even when you have loads of stuff with you, it feels like nothing.
I did have to get used to the motor-assist as this is my first E-bike but it's nothing jarring.
Ths simple desing of the screen gives you all the info you need at a glance.
At first, I was a bit reluctant to get an E-bike as I was afraid that it wouldn't be as much of an exercise as a regular one but I'm now enjoying riding it everywhere!
I even surprise myself by how much I try to use my bike instead of my car.
So yeah, in my opinion, the bike is worth it!
