Warranty Policy

Recommendation

ProCykel highly recommends that all customers have their bikes examined and tested by a certified bicycle mechanic before the first ride. A full inspection of each component on the bike will help ensure that the bicycle is safe to ride. Bikes that have been shipped may arrive with parts bent or out of adjustment. ProCykel makes no guarantees that the brakes, shifters, motor, stem, rims, spokes, derailleur, fork, or any other component on the bike will be properly secured and adjusted upon arrival. ProCykel takes no responsibility for product or incidental damage caused by loose or out-of-adjustment parts.

Assembly by the customer is at their own risk, and ProCykel cannot be liable for improper assembly causing damage to the bike or its components. Any damage caused by improper assembly will not be covered by ProCykel. Parts and/or repair costs resulting from improper assembly will be incurred by the customer, not ProCykel.

Two (2) Year Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty applies only to the original owner of an ebike purchased from ProCykel’s online store or physical storefront. To receive warranty benefits, you must retain your receipt as proof of purchase and verify the name, address, and other information submitted at the time of purchase.

The Warranty Period begins upon your receipt of the ebike and ends immediately upon the earlier of the end of the Warranty Period or any sale or transfer of the ebike to another person. Under no circumstances shall the Limited Warranty apply to any subsequent owner or transferee of the ebike.

ProCykel warrants that the unit shall be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of purchase when it is used under normal conditions and maintained according to the requirements outlined in the Owner’s Guide.

What is Covered by This Warranty?

This Limited Warranty applies to purchases made in the Netherlands and the European Union, in accordance with the following terms:

  • The original unit and/or non-wearable parts deemed defective, at ProCykel’s sole discretion, will be repaired or replaced up to two (2) years from the original purchase date.
  • In the event a replacement unit is issued, the warranty coverage will end six (6) months following the date of the replacement unit or until the end of the existing warranty, whichever is later. ProCykel reserves the right to replace the unit with one of equal or greater value.
  • Batteries and motors: Defective batteries and motors will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. Only ProCykel can directly evaluate defective batteries and motors. The warranty does not cover defects or damages caused by using an unsuitable charger, damage to the battery seal, or using the battery in a device other than the designated bicycle.

What is Not Covered by This Warranty?

  • Normal wear and tear of wearable parts, including tires, tubes, brake pads, cables, housing, grips, chain, and spokes, which require regular maintenance.
  • Any unit that has been tampered with or used for unintended purposes.
  • Damage or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the ebike owner’s manual, acts of God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modification, improper assembly, installation of incompatible parts or accessories, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding, or improper maintenance.
  • Non-ebike products sold by ProCykel.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligent handling, failure to perform required maintenance, or mishandling.
  • Consequential and incidental damages or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the owner’s manual, force majeure, misuse, neglect, and abuse.
  • Liquid damage: ProCykel Ebikes have an IPX4 water resistance rating, meaning they are resistant to water splashes only, not waterproof.
  • Damage due to improper tools or inadequate maintenance performed by unauthorized personnel.
  • Damage resulting from adding non-standard equipment, parts, or technical modifications.
  • Products purchased, used, or operated outside of the Netherlands and the European Union.

Shipping Damage

Damage to a Covered Component during shipping is not covered by this Limited Warranty. However, ProCykel will replace such damaged Covered Components if you:

  • Notify ProCykel of the damage within thirty (30) days of receipt of the ebike.
  • Provide ProCykel with a dated picture of the damaged Covered Component.
  • Return all original packaging and paperwork included with the ebike.
  • Note any immediately recognizable damage on the shipper’s Bill of Lading before signing off on the shipment.

Shipping damage claims are time-sensitive, and it is your responsibility to inspect the ebike for damage upon receipt. If you choose to set up your own independent shipping method, such as using a freight forwarder, ProCykel will not replace any Covered Components damaged during such shipping methods.

Credit Card Chargebacks

If any ebike purchase becomes subject to a credit card chargeback in any amount, and you are still in possession of the ebike, then this Limited Warranty shall be invalidated until the credit card chargeback has been resolved.

How to Get Service?

ProCykel will not replace any Covered Component under this Limited Warranty without first receiving photos or video of the damaged Covered Component. To exercise your right to receive a replacement for a Covered Component under this Limited Warranty, you must:

  • Contact the ProCykel customer service team at Support@CykelPro.com. The Technical Support team will work with you to identify potential fixes.
  • If a Covered Component must be replaced, the customer service team will provide instructions for returning the defective component and receiving a replacement.
  • After receiving the replacement component, the customer service team will assist you in installing the new component on your ebike.
  • ProCykel will cover the cost of shipping for all replacement parts under warranty.

Thirty (30) Day Accessory Warranty

The Thirty (30) Day Accessory Warranty applies to accessories that ProCykel deems defective due to factory errors. Misuse or damage due to accidents is not covered.

About State Laws

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
